TRAIN TO BUSAN

  Train To Busan is a famous Korean disaster film released in 2016, directed by Yeon Sang-ho. Starring include Gong Yoo(Seok-woo), Ma Dong-seok(Sang-hwa), Jung Yu-mi(Seong-kyeong), Kim Su-an(Su-an), Kim Eui-sung(Yon-suk), Choi Woo-shik(Yong-guk) and Ahn So-hee(Jin-hee). According to this film, the main character Seok-woo, a fund manager by profession, is not able to spend quality time with his daughter, Su-an. On the eve of her birthday, he plans to visit his separated wife in Busan to make it up to Su-an. Their co-pasengers on board the Korean High-speed rail from Seoul to Busan include people from different walks of life such as a CEO, a husband and pregnant wife, a group of high school kids, a couple of elderly sisters and a homeless man. 

  According to this film, we can know that the film takes place on a train to Busan, the story of a group of passengers who began to survive a zombie attack also includes a series of questions about human nature.

   Firstly, I learned from the film that the people cannot be too selfish and must be to know how to help each other. For example, we can see from this scene that taking about the character Seok-woo is a fund manager by profession in order to make money, cold family and children, also in a state of distrust of human nature at first, and finally changed his selfish character for his daughter and chose to fight zombies with other passengers. Not only that, another scene that talking about though he remembered his daughter's birthday, he never really thought about what his daughter wanted. In my opinion, I think parents also should be more concerned with their children, even if they are busy at work.

  Next, we can also see from another scene that talking about the character Sang-hwa is very considerate and caring for his wife although he has a fierce face. Not only that, he also helps other passengers stop zombies instead of running away. But in the end, he was sacrificed. He preferred to block the door in the carriage, knowing that he could not be escape, and let the others escape. In my opinion, I learned from this scene that the character Sang-hwa is a brave man. This is because he can sacrifice himself to help others. Besides, even against zombies, he does not forget to take care of his wife. 

  Moreover, according to the film, we can see from another scene that talking about the character Yon-suk is a selfish man. Even if someone alive is asking him for help, he would not care and help the people. For example, we can see that when everyone gathered in the first carriage of the train, he let the others who also gathered in the first carriage of the train to close the door to keep other people out. Finally, the main character Seok-woo and other people broke through the door but the character Sang-hwa was sacrificed. In my opinion, bad guys will always be punished. This is because we can see the scene that the character Yon-suk was turned into a zombie at the end and be pushed off the train by Seok-woo.

  

Besides, we can also see another scene that taking about the character Yong-guk is a young baseball player. Board the train with the team to Busan for an inter-school race. When there is a zombie attack on the train, their bat becomes the only weapon that can fight back. Another clip that impressed me was the scene when Seok-woo, Sang-hwa and Yong-guk reached the train compartment, there was the train compartment that his friend of baseball team that turned into a zombie, and his shock and inability to do so could have been expected. According to his movements, I can understand how painful it is to fight the friends who has become a zombie. Moreover, the scene that when he saw Jin-hee (a girl that Yong-guk liked) turned into a zombie because of Yon-suk’s selfishness, he gave up running because he could not accept it.

Lastly, when I watch the movie, I think this movie is very exciting and very nice, especially in this movie that not only just watch the plot but also see through the real world. Not only that, the whole movie is interspersed with affection such as father and daughter, and sister, love such as husband and wife, and high school, and some humorous plot, which makes the film a little warmer. This is because we will see that there are all kinds of people, and there are people who are desperate to survive without regard to others. Moreover, there are some people who not only care about themselves but also take care of others. What is more worth mentioning is that the main character Seok-woo had never cared about others, changed his selfish during this zombies attack, understanding how to help others cooperate and unite, and so on.
